Next Transition Town Brixton meeting 25th August
Transition Town Brixton is meeting at the new Brixton Pound cafe which opened in July 2016 (more info here). It’s Brixton’s first pay-what-you-feel cafe!
We will be there on Thursday 25th August from 6.30-8pm at 77 Atlantic Road, SW9 8PU

Brixton Pound in Council Payroll: A UK First
For the first time this month some Lambeth Council employees will be part paid in Brixton Pounds.  The scheme gives all Lambeth Council employees the chance of receiving a portion of their salary in electronic Brixton Pounds (B£e).
Employees can then spend their B£e with local, independent businesses or donate to local charities and social enterprises. [...]
