The Transition Network holds yearly conferences and this year’s conference will be in Battersea, at the Battersea Arts Centre, so it is a good opportunity to go. Also could you offer accommodation to someone coming from further away (see link below).

Main sessions:
- Main Transition Conference: Friday 14th September (6.00pm) to Sunday 16th September (4.30pm) (Full program not yet available)
- The REconomy Project Day (Friday 14th September) will explore the conference theme of “Building Resilience in Extraordinary Times” through an economic and entrepreneurial lens.
- The Youth event (Friday 14th September) is entitled “Which Future do We Want?” and will explore creating meaningful livelihoods in a rapidly changing world. For 16 year-olds upwards.
- 2-day Transition THRIVE course – (Thursday 13th and Friday 14th September): This advanced training course is designed help you to sustain momentum both in your Transition Initiative and also at a personal level.
- An international gathering of National Transition Hubs (Monday 17th to Tuesday 18th Sept)
There are various prices depending on what combination you go to, e.g. £15 for the Youth Event, £100 for the main conference.
You can apply for a concession or make a donation to help other people to attend.
There is also a form to fill in if you can offer accommodation to someone coming to the conference from outside London or overseas. (As well as one for those seeking accommodation).
